Sonny is a well known Crypto executive in Silicon Valley that has been involved in crypto since 2012. He is currently, the Co-Founder and CEO of Beluga which is a crypto platform to help onboard the next 1B users in crypto. Previously, Sonny was the Chief Commercial Officer of BitPay which is one of the largest crypto payments company and raised over $70M in funding from top investors like Founders Fund, Index Ventures, and Sir Richard Branson. Sonny joined BitPay in 2014 after he got his first exposure into crypto when he was the Vice President at Jumio and helped companies like Coinbase setup their KYC program. Sonny has spoken at numerous conferences throughout the world and is often a guest interview on Bloomberg and CNBC. Sonny has an MBA from Thunderbird, and is a graduate of Binghamton University (NY) where he played collegiate tennis.
